Hello

After months of friends telling me I should and me saying I would, I finally took some time off social media to focus on a personal project. ‘Classic Jess’ is a blog about my experiences as a single woman in her early thirties, living in London, and the life lessons I’ve picked up throughout my twenties.

My blog features memoirs and anecdotes of my experiences over the years, from past to present, touching on relationships, love, sex, friendship, mental health, growing up and everything in between. Some of my stories are relatable, some cringe worthy, some emotional and others are just downright bizarre situations I all too frequently find myself in (hence the much used phrase of ‘classic Jess’). Oh, and I’ve also discovered I have a bit of a knack for writing witty poems, who knew?!

Whilst the stories and locations are real, names have been changed to protect the identities of the innocent (and the not so innocent). So, if you enjoy a naughty limerick or just fancy being nosey then make sure to subscribe for upcoming posts. I hope you enjoy!

P.S My sister, Rebecca, also writes blog posts on race, feminism and sexuality and you can find her over on Medium.com/@rebeccalloydwright.
